Can I access support services when studying from home?
EIT Auckland Campus will be open Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 4.30pm. All academic programmes, except for English Language, will continue to be delivered online until the end of Term 3. EIT students will continue to study from home which means that you are not expected to come onto campus for your programme learning unless you have been notified by your Lecturer or Programme Coordinator. Academic student support will also continue online and will not be available on campus. We are still offering our online resources which are available 24/7, and access to Library and Learning Services staff online during core hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) Monday - Friday. Please see below for details on how to access our online resources and how to book online appointments with our teams.
I normally see a Learning Advisor. Can I still see someone?
Yes you can. You can make an online booking with a Learning Advisor at this link.
We also have all our Study Guides that you can access for online material and resources to help with your studies.
I need help with APA Referencing, is there anyone who can help me?

At the EIT Libraries we have a large amount of information available online. We have article databases and e-books all which can be accessed from home. All our resources can be accessed from this link.

Library staff are able to help you with finding information by distance. For quick questions please use the online chat on MyEIT for an immediate response (during core working hours).

Will I be charged fines on any library books that go overdue during the closedown?
EIT Auckland is now open Monday-Friday. There are two methods to return the books to avoid overdue fines:
- All books from Hawkes Bay are supplied to Auckland students with a Freepost label. You can use it to post the book back free of charge. Place the label on the envelope and hand it in to any NZPost branch.
- You can drop the books to campus as we are open between 9AM-4PM. The book will be posted back for you free of charge.
