Support is available for students with physical, mental, intellectual, sensory or learning impairments across all EIT campuses and Learning Centres. We are dedicated to providing an environment that gives students opportunities to achieve their maximum academic and personal potential.

We can offer services based on your learning needs such as:

  • Advice and guidance to access community services and resources
  • Accompany students to attend meetings with tutorial staff, community organisations, health professionals
  • Referrals
  • Access to apply for grants and funding for specialist equipment
  • Parking permits
  • Assistive technology
  • Ergonomic furniture and equipment
  • NZSL
  • Individual learning support
  • Note taking and study support
  • Alternative test and exam arrangements

Information provided to us is confidential. However we may need to talk with staff and external services to best meet your needs and we encourage you to talk with your programme coordinators and tutors early in your study.


Āheitanga | Accessibility

Our campus is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet on Level 1.


Tūnga waka | Parking

There are no accessible parking for Auckland campus. If you need any specific parking, please talk to the student support advisor.
