Academic Learning Services - Hawke's Bay
Welcome! Academic Learning Services is here to assist you on your journey towards the successful completion of your studies at EIT. Our aim is for you to become confident, competent and independent learners. The advisors for Hawke's Bay campus are located in M116 - call in to the Library helpdesk to make an appointment.
Learning advisors support learners to develop their learning, numeracy, and academic skills as well as their language proficiency.
Self-help learning resources can be found in "Step up to Learning Success"
APPOINTMENTS
Students may request assignment writing or study skills support by emailing LearningAdvisors@eit.ac.nz with the following details:

Details of the request
If the request is for assignment writing support, the assignment task, marking rubric, and a copy of their work is to be attached to the email.
DROP-IN
Online drop in is available, for short learning support sessions, as advertised in EITOnline. Once in EITOnline, click on Learning Success then scroll down the Nau mai/Welcome page to view the drop-in schedule and access the link to the drop-in session.
WORKSHOPS
Study skills workshops are run during the first few weeks of each semester. The workshop schedule is available in Step up to Learning Success in EITOnline.
